A solid understanding of the Toast POS system, proper cash handling, tip splitting, and the discount system are essential for smooth service and accurate transactions.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and welcoming taproom environment by bussing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, emptying trash and recycling, and resetting furniture. Staff should handle opening, shift, and closing duties diligently, including stocking beer and merchandise, maintaining taproom safety and sanitation, and keeping the dishwasher and cleaning chemicals in proper order. Participation in taproom meetings, trainings, and events is required, along with occasional tasks like watering the flowers in summer to keep the space inviting for guests.

REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have excellent customer service and communication skills. They should be motivated, dependable, and able to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to handle high-volume traffic, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively are essential.

Team members should work well with others, demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, and consistently show initiative. An interest in craft beer and brewing is highly valued, as is a willingness to learn and engage with customers about the products offered.

BENEFITS:
Compensation includes an hourly wage of $11.79 plus pooled tips, which are split based on hours worked per shift. Team members also receive a co-worker allotment of beer and merchandise, including one shift beer after each shift, two six-packs per week, one wearable item upon starting, and additional wearables after 90 days.
